Style inspiration

I love Ms Amber Rose's style. It's so different but it's wearable different, like urban chic. She makes her fashion statement and doesn't need to look ridiculous like she is wearing a costume 24/7 like the trend in Hollywood is.She follows her on style and her own. Here's a few of my favorite looks from her.BTW the first picture above the text when she is in the blue dress is my favorite look.

What do you think?

So I had this cute dress with a really nice top and a gorgeous bottom,But i didn't like them together all the time. So wilts my friend was over here I decided to cut it in half keeping the bottom of the skirt and the top. The bottom looks the this lovely tutu :

My summer goal

All winter I have been working on getting my body in shape for the summer. Manly my midsection but every summer I end up rarely going to the pool or swimming or just covering it up. This summer is different instead of going the whole summer with my lovely mid-drift hidden I will expose it for what it really is! I have already constructed this cute top that shows the whole thing but I wore this lovely number the other day!
The shirt and the necklace are from Charlotte Russe

Sorry for that face lol I'm a goof!

Love Style NOT Fashion

So let me take this brief moment to tell you about my day. Today I saw to "urban" girls wearing all the right things Loud colors, one wearing a loud red lipstick along with big hair and big earrings honestly she looked cute. Another was in a bright read blazer a natural face and had natural hair in a pinup hairstyle. The both looked done.. I don't know how to describe it but they both looked done like they spent time to get ready to walk around down town. I mean don't get me wrong they were both fierce bitches no doubt about that. Their looks were all to similar to a friend of mines back in Maryland who dressed the same way. I was seeing all these fashionable girls all around Charlotte I was so happy, although they were the only ones that made a "statement" and the rest were dressed typical fashionista ways. I relaxed. Usually before I found my own style I was always so insecure around girls like that, I was always like they looked so glamorous so fashionable. But then I remembered all the girls are wearing something similar to each other, even though they are expressing themselves  they aren't showing themselves they are showing there clothes because that's the only thing I remembered about them. Obviously they were in to fashion but you don't need to be "shocking" to make a statement with your clothes. You can look typical as long as you're showing your style you will stand out. I've seen millions of girls that looked just like them big curly afro big studded glasses and a loud fashion T- Shirt or something. To me it looks different but it doesn't show real style if in less than five seconds I can think of several different people who look like you.  I mean to each it's own, but the reason I'm writing this is because even though I saw all these girls looking so shocking and I had on (what I consider) a simple out fit I loved it. The point of style is to express who you are not who everyone else thinks you should look like. If thats your style that's your style it's an outward expression of yourself and you should not be ashamed of it. After thinking to myself and remembering how I actually looked I was quite pleased with my self and walked out with my head held high knowing that this is who I am not something I am an individual and I don't need bright bold colors Crazy outfits nor do I need gravity defying hair to prove it.

This id a really simple look but it has a lot of staying power you will always remember a girl in lace! Really shows how fabrics can really make an outfit.
