A True Visionary

Photographer, Fashion Observer, Visionary. These are a few words that come to mind if you asked me about Allbur, a young budding photographer in Spain on the brink of fame. His work is amazing from the breathtaking photos to the style it's self he is a force to be reckoned with. Fashion Police: BET Awards

Last night was the BET Awards 2011 hosted by the hilarious comedian Kevin Heart. Stars flooded the green from  actors to music moguls.  All the biggest names in black  entertainment will be there, and of course the fashion. Every year at the BET award stylist and celebs go all out in the best threads lets see how they did this year shall we?

Let's get things started with Nicki Minaj. Remember how last time we let you slide with that blue number?Well not this time, you cute boo but not this time. Remember that it is summer time show off those legs and get rid of the boots. Making me hot just looking at you. Three tickets and a portable fan.

Kerry Washington all was the belle of the ball looked great in this summer's trending color. In this great light weight dress she exudes class and grace. 6 stars, only because in my opinion she's over dressed for the BET Awards. 

Lola Monroe the MISS BOSSET, I have to say I love this girl and her hair and dress is looking nice not over dressed not under dressed. The only thing I have to say is lose the shoes a simple black strappy sandals would have set everything off. I give her 5 stars and a gift card to a shoe store.

Teairra Mari, Where you been girl I've missed you! She look stunning in this sliver ensemble, metallic romper and shoes looking fun and summery. Not sure if this is really appropriate for and awards show, but then again it's not that formal of a show. 4 Stars for you, and come back out!

Ashanti, so pretty so cute,this dress though um it's a cute shade especially against your skin tone but I don't know. We're not completely sold on this look you look fabulous as always. We're going to give you a warning...

Uh, Beyonce who? Kelly Rowland is killing them and all in pink. This girl has came up and is dominating once again you look good. Can't really give any complaints 8 stars!  Congrats girl, now who's your stylist? ;-)

Kerri Hilson, you look good good girl as always, but I never know if you meant for you boobs to look so, so, squished. All I can say is work it girl you look good elegant and the queen of adding a "classy" edge to you look. 5 Star and a push up bra.

Um Tyga, Tyga, Tyga, Tyga. Sigh what the heck do you have on? I could have handled the all black, even the polyester shoes, but having your shirt open like a some sweaty middle aged hairy fat guy? is,just a no. No you get the book thrown at you for this one. I the jewelry and the shirt the hair just I could go on but I won't. You get sent to Fashion Prison, Community Service, a stylist that actually likes you and prayers to the fashion gods. Best of Luck.

Could it be? No. No. Michelle Williams got her outfit right! Hallelujah! Those classes worked you look great girl. I'm not a fan of that thing covering the split but I'll take it, you look awesome. I love the purple on your skin the fabric looks comfortable and the shoes killing them! 6 stars and a celebration party!

Jill Scott, it's not a wow look but it's a look. Matter a fact, it's actually kind of boring all black? I feel as if you forgot you were going and needed a dress at the last minute and this is all they had left. You always look so great but what the heck is this? Disappointment I know you could do better. 2 Stars....

They really need to make a dress code at the BET Awards because this is something that NO ONE should wear. CeCe Peniston, I know it's hot but if you don't want to wear pants you can wear a skirt. this is just unacceptable. All because it's black doesn't mean it works in fact you have to have to be more careful of what you wear when wearing black than any other color. Please fire your stylist. 

Rosci, girl you are not Pocahontas and this doesn't work. I have no idea what you are wearing but this isn't working at all. It's to short and ripped the only thing that is working in this whole outfit is the shoes. I can't, please to the left no stars no praise for this community service and some time in prison. 

Nene, you look great! Your curves put all curvy girls to shame! The blonde hair and the gold dress is just amazing keep them curves and work with what you got and you got alot to give! 8 stars! Simply Fab.

Selena Meets Lady Gaga

80's retro dance freak! This was inspired by Selena, she was so gorgeous and her music was beautiful. It literally just came to me, I was getting dressed and threw on a bra and then added the tights. Then I thought to myself, this would look awesome with a belt! In one, two, three, I had my 80's retro Selena look! The look is so much fun and easy to put together try adding some really crazy makeup like I did to but some oomf in it. It's amazing what you can put together and find when you're not trying to put a look together. Remember little bots that it's never about what you put on but it's about how you wear it! I'm feeling Sexy

Everyone no matter your race age or gender likes to feel sexy. It's an extra boost of confedience that we enjoy feeling a knowing. But, what happens on those days were you don't feel to hot or your think that you may have made a wrong to in to slutsville? Never you fret! I've been in your shoes and realized that being sexy is all in the state of mind and have little or nothing to do with what you actually wear! Here's three little tips to bring the sexy out in you!

1. Shower
     Yes, this is a given for hygienic reasons but how can it make you feel sexy? Easy pretend (or you could actually do this your choice) that you significant other is watching you shower. Put on a little show for them it doesn't have to be explicit just put on some sensual music and let the musical stylings run threw your body. Or if this make you feel weird, you could always pretend you're on a body wash commercial simple too! Just let your soap body wash wash over your skin.

2.  Listen to music
     I believe that music can make you feel a certain way. So why not turn on some scandalous music to start your day? Why not turn on some sexy music, no, why not make it raunchy? That one song you know if your mother heard you listening to she'd take you I pod forever. Put on a show for your self dance in your mirror while your getting dressed make it a little sexier while putting on your socks. Good ol' wholesome fun..right?

3  Keep secrets
      What's sexier than a little secret? No need to be an open book, keep a little secret confidence boost for your self. Do you go completely commando when you wear your best booty jeans? Or spread bronzer on your legs when you have on your super short skirt? ? Shh.. it's your secret little or big make people wonder why you have that glow and look so great.


All in all, sexy has nothing to do with what you put on the outside of your body. It's all about what you feel on the inside! Confidence is what separates the Sexy Beyonce's and Rihanna's of the world from the Hedi Montag's and Tila Tequila's of the world. It has nothing to do with how much skin you show it's about how you flaunt it. Nothing is more sexy than a girl having fun smiling and confident in herself!  Running low on confidence? Aggravation Out Doors

I love the shorts and stockings look. I've always wanted to try it, it's a fun funky look that is so simple to pull off. Its a nice casual look and an interesting spin on a cute easy out fit. You could wear the  look with a simple tee shirt or even with a a little more dressy top. I wouldn't wear it with long short such as Bermuda shorts or anything that is knee length, it just wouldn't look right. Although the shorts don't have to be as short as mine but short shorts are the best way to pull of this fun and funky look.

I shouldn't Have gotten that Tat..

I love a good Tattoo, it's the perfect amount of sexy and edgy if done correctly. In our generation tattoos are the hottest thing and it's gotten a little out of control. What people fail to realize is that tattoos are forever. Yes there nice to show off but are you really going to want a tattoo of spongebob, Nicki Minaj, Barbie, or Drake on you forever? Now me personally I think everyone is entitled to get what ever the heck they want on there bodies. Yes, that includes ONE only ONE stupid tattoo. But make sure it's something you can live with for the rest of your life. Here are some basic "rules" of tattooing.

Rule Number One: Love doesn't matter

   Please just as a rule of thumb don't get a Boyfriends or Girl friends Wife's or Husband's name on your body ANYWHERE! Stuff happens and you don't want a permanent reminder of what was? The only names you should get on your body is your children's or your parents that's it. I know you are saying 'Oh I can just get it covered up' Why spend the extra money on something that you don't have to get in the first place? If you want something to show your love between you and your significant other why not just get matching tattoos? Simple. Plus you can alter it as needed.

Rule Number Two: I want to be exotic

    Get a language that you can speak. Remember this is a permanent decisions make sure you know the language fluently. I know those Chinese symbols are cute and they say that it means love but many of them don't really mean what they say they do. If you must get it do your research! Figure out the true meaning and get it written underneath it so you will know what it means for years to come.


Rule Number 3: I got 10 millions Tattoos

   I'm a fan of lots of tattoos I think when they are done perfectly that it looks great. In hind site think about your career choice. You're not going to be young forever and your going to need a job. Tattoos have a bad reputation and alot of employers don't want them seen on the job. So that full sleeve tattoo can cost you in the long run. Just think logically, if you want to be a nurse, teacher, even a truck driver they don't want the tattoos seen on the job. Try to get your job/career in place first before making a stigma for yourself. Try and get tattoos that are easily camouflaged, for example I have two tattoos both on my hips, they can not be seen easily I still have the "expression" but it won't effect my work.

Rule Number 4: Quick to Change Artist

   If you know you can't or have commitment issues then tattoos aren't for you. Simply put, they are a PERMANENT decisions if you know your going to change your mind tomorrow then don't get it. Also don't get it in a spur of the moment situation, all because your friends are getting tattoos that doesn't mean you have to get one too. You can stand out just as much with nothing done to your body.


All in all tattoos are a fun way to be to be different, but you don't need to them to be different besides since everyone is getting them now anyways there isn't that much individuality to them. Just be yourself and do what your comfortable with and make sure you can deal with the consequences. Be sure  that you can take the pain of the tattoo enjoy. And remember the best way to stand out is to listen to your heart not doing what everyone else is doing, follow your heart and do what you want. Fuck the rest :)
