How to layer: Key Pieces

Even though it's November it's not exactly cold out it's still a little chilly. Well, maybe December will be good to us and give some weather to cuddle and layer up. These are some awesome layers so when it does get colder (or if you're in a place that it is cold) you can bundle up and look fabulous!

A. Fur Collar

This look is so stylish you can wear this with a cute jean jacket black skinny's and killer boots and look absolutely flawless. (With huge aviators too)

B.  Striped Sweater Dress

This look is great with honestly anything the skies the limit. 

C.  Jeggings

They're jeggings seriously?But you can never go wrong with a flowy top and chunky boots. Try them with a pop of color just to add some "fun" to your wardrobe. 

D. Open cardigan

A cardi, is a simple piece that can be taken anywhere and can be paired with almost anything. I wouldn't recommend wearing it on a night out though.

E. Flannel Button down

Honestly, it's cold out did you seriously didn't think that Flannel wouldn't make the list?

F. Leggings

Jeggings leggings same thing, the prefect thing to layer with.

G. Pull overs!!

Warm, cuddly, and perfect thing to wear with leggings and a flannel so warm.

H. Vest

Furl lined vest, simple, chic, and ad and extra pop to any thing.

I. Maxi Skirt

Love these such a fun look to experiment with.

J. Parka

All ways wanted one the possibility are endless.

Zara Latest TRF Collection & Tips

•  Rock the shorts.. Instead of wearing a dress, switch it up with some dressy shorts, with a formal top and your done.

• Dress up plaid who said that it was only for casual dress it up for a fun new look.

•  Mix girl and Guy, try a hot blazer or a masculine jacket and a flowy skirt for that awesome new look.

They're loud, They're crazy and they will defiantly turn some heads! These feathered eye wear are just crazy enough for a wild night or something. I can't think of one place I would wear these too but I love a good challenge and this is it. There not the cutest but then again I'm not looking for cute these feathered demons are available at Karmaloop for a mere 175 (on sale).On second thought just be on the look out for a DIY on these

Make up look of the day: Smokey

So today I decided to do a intense smokey I wanted to add drama too my look, I love the look the smokey. (Inspired by Beyonce's b day album makeup)What I don't look is the nude lips just because, I'm not a nude lip type of person although I do think that I may not do a red lip unless it's night time. Or maybe I will, I'm not sure I don't want to look like a box of crayons came on my face. So for now I will  leave bare maybe do a little pink. So what do you guys think? Survival Shopping (for the holidays and year around)

Since shopping season is here I decided to give advice on what and how to shop. Trust me I've spent years perfecting the art of shopping (yes there is an art) and scouring the fashion blogs through out the years and found out tips that work and those that really just make it worse. Plus I work in retail, so I know all those tips and tricks that they con you in to buying more things.

1. Plan it out. 

  If you know that you're going shopping take a look at what you already have and see what you need. Make a list of stuff you need so that you won't buy things you already have.

2. Dress the Part: 

 When your going shopping dress like it. Pull your hair in to a chic pony and wear light make up in the style that you typically wear it in so you can see how your make up looks with it and your hair won't be everywhere. Simple skinny's or leggings will do as far as pants wear and a nice simple top under a cute jacket will suffice. Keep it simple and you, just for when you're in the fitting room you can easily get in and get out with out the hassle of taking of multiple layers or worrying about your hair. 

 3. Beware your friends
      After going shopping all the time with my friends I found my self buying more things that were cute than what I needed and to be honest I don't wear any of them anymore. Pick one level headed friend to go shopping with and whats most importantly use your brain and your list. If you don't need it don't get it.

4. You don't need the bag
      When that sales clerk comes with you with that mesh tote beware!! To there defense it's to prevent people from stealing, but it also make us good hearted folk buy more just because were aren't aware of what we're putting in the bag and then you notice all the sales and your trying to stock up which brings me to the next point.......

5. Watch out there's a sale!!

Beware of buy 1 get ones or the 4 for 20 sales. They seem like really good deal but wait! Do you really need 3 different types of lotions? Think, figure out how much the original cost is if it's below the price of the sale then you don't need to by it. If you came in for 2 soaps but the sales is 4 for 15 and the original price of the soap is 5 bucks why get two extra soaps for 5 dollars that you don't need?

6. Pay it with cash

I know the simplicity of a credit card is amazing! Just wipe and go but it also doesn't tell you how much you actually have left in your account nor if you're going over your budget. So my advice go to the ATM if you only plan on spending 110 dollars go ahead and take that amount out of the bank and put it in your wallet so you can see your money as it goes and know how much you have left to spend!

7. Thrift it 

If you have time go to the thrift store before you go to the mall and see if they have something that you like before you hit up the mall. You'll  probably find it much cheaper. Me and my sister went the thrift store the other day and got a shirt two pairs of earrings a necklace and a brooch for 9 dollars. If we were to go to the mall all that would have been 20 buck at least! So check out your local thrift shop (I have the luxury of having one right up the street) before you go to the big name stores!

OOTD: RAWR!!

 The jacket is my Amen Fashion DIY and the chain is thrifted (only costed me two bucks!!). This look is so simple but it creates such it big impact especially where I'm at. Me and my sister were going to Walmart and everyone kept staring at us it may have had something to do with this or that fact that she has purple hair. I don't know but I love this look and the stares.

Yum or Yuck? Silver lips

As you all probably know, silver is the new black. Metallics are all the rage this season but silver on your lips? Hmm, I don't know about that. I have a feeling that this may either make your lips look really thin or dry if not done correctly..What do you think?
